From RT to M.D. – A METC Graduate’s Journey
Dr. Jared Katz is a former Army reserve respiratory therapist who graduated from the Medical Education and Training Campus Respiratory Therapy (RT) course. Along his journey to medical school, Katz utilized his RT skills to help save lives during the coronavirus pandemic. He reached his goal of graduating from Dartmouth Medical School in May 2024.

Spurs’ Zach Collins Visits METC

METC Pharmacy Training Lab named in honor of late program director
The Catoe family cuts the ribbon to the newly named Catoe Lab at the Medical Education and Training Campus Pharmacy Technician program during a ceremony Dec. 8 in honor of Air Force Col. John Catoe, METC's second pharmacy training program director, while Lt. Col. Darryl McGuire, Pharmacy Director at Joint Base Lewis-McChord, who served with Catoe, as the METC Army Service Lead, unveils the dedication plaque.
