FORT SAM HOUSTON, Texas (April 27, 2012) The Basic Medical Technician Corpsman Program (BMTCP), a combined Air Force medical technician and Navy hospital corpsman training program, celebrated its one year anniversary as one program at the Medical Education and Training Campus (METC). A cake cutting ceremony symbolizing the joining of the Air Force and Navy entry-level enlisted medical programs under METC was conducted by the first and last assigned Navy and Air Force instructors as well as the inaugural commandant, Rear Adm.
