Telemedicine Systems

This is a single course within the METC Biomedical Equipment Technician (B-326-1000) consolidated course for the Navy and a single course for Army and Air Force BMETs working in the career field. The instructional design for this course is group lockstep. This course provides formal training for biomedical equipment maintenance personnel who are assigned to an Air Force or Army medical treatment facility (MTF). For the Navy, this course provides mission ready skills as part of the basic course for assignment to an MTF. The course is designed to provide advanced technical training on telemedicine systems. The course will focus on clinical application, and theory of operations of telemedicine systems, as well as preventive maintenance, calibration/verification and isolating a malfunction.
