Navy Advanced Dental Laboratory Technology
The instructional design for the Dental Advanced Laboratory Technician program is group lockstep. The program provides fundamental instruction for procedures accomplished in dental laboratories. Students receive training in Dental Advanced Fixed Laboratory Technician, Dental Advanced Removable Laboratory Technician, and Dental Advanced Porcelain Techniques courses. Students receive advanced training on fabrication of incisal guide table, denture set-up, complex removable dental prosthesis, articulation, diagnostic wax-ups, metal-ceramics, implants, radiographic stents, surgical guides, custom trays, provisionals, hybrid implant restorations, dentures, and dental laboratory management and administration. The program culminates in recommended credit hours through the American Council on Education (ACE).
